orlovlegal.com — A MAGNITUDE 7.7 earthquake struck Flores and Nagekeo, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), on August 15, 2026. According to Indonesia’s National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB), the disaster claimed around 87 lives, left thousands injured, and displaced more than 150,576 people. A week on, Indonesia’s meteorological agency (BMKG) is still recording thousands of aftershocks — some still felt as recently as this weekend around Manggarai.
